Don't make links that change size or bold text when hovered over, it's worse than flipping images when you hover over them.

MIDI, I haven't heard a crappy MIDI on a web site since, well since that last crapy GeoCities site we reviewed.

It's bad enough to say a site only looks good in a certain browser, but to say it only looks good in a certain monitor, that's going a bit far.
